procedures involving the eyelids, the eyebrows, and their surrounding structures. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. and was fellowship trained in ophthalmic plastic surgery by Stephen L. Bosniak, MD in Manhattan, New York.
Dr. Zdinak has always had a focused interest in the anatomy of the head and neck region and spent much of her pre-residency training operating with head and neck specialists in Chicago. She took this knowledge base with her to her residency program in Washington DC where she sought out and operated with multiple oculoplastic surgeons at this nationally renowned eye trauma facility.

Instead, she uses radiosurgery and lasers to minimize bleeding and swelling, allowing for a more rapid recovery.
